Weird period on BC and missed pills?!
Question: Weird period on BC and missed pills!?
I'm on yasmin, three weeks of the yellow, one week of the white!. I've been on them for about 5 months now!. Now, heres the thing!. I've NEVER gotten my period during my off week at all!. Always during my second week of active pills!. however I still get the stupid pms like I should during the off week!. lol
My first day of my last period was the 22 or 23 of last month and lasted until the friggin 5th of this month!.
had sex with the hubby a couple of times since then!.
HOWEVER,
While I was cleaning!. I lost my pills last week!. (i'm also chasing around an active 2yr old and 1 yr old)
and I found them today, in oddest place, drawer in kitchen!. So I've missed a week and a few days!.
Now!. I've already placed a call in to my dr's office to find out what the heck I should do!. But I'm also kinda freaked out because well!. if my cycle is already off with the pills bleeding at the wrong times!. and I missed the pills, erummm!. should I just get another pack, wait and see if I get my period!. freak out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The thing to do when you miss a pill, is you just take two the next day, but i forget how many days u miss before having to start a new pack!.
The thing recommended for that many missed pills is just to start a new pack!.
But i would suggest talking to your doctor and maybe even trying a different method of birth control, perhaps a different pill or different method in general, as there are manyWww@Answer-Health@Com

suck that!.!.!.that happend glad you talked to your doc or at least placed a call! if i were you i would have gone to Walgreen's and got plan b just to be safe! but its a little too late! I'm sure you will be fine but i would get another pack to be on the safe side! they say when you miss a pill 2 days in a row your in trouble so i hope not for you!.!.!.keep calling the doctor to try and get a new pack!

have you notified your doctor about you having your period during the 2nd week and not during your white pills!? your doc may need to adjust your pills!. also i would just continue taking the pack you found!. i've missed pills here and there and just picked up from where i left off!. you may have a weird period while re-adjusting but nothing to freak out about!. best wishesWww@Answer-Health@Com
See your doctor as it all sounds a bit confusing, but use condoms! It's the only way to make sure you're unlikely to get pregnant while your pill usage is up in the air!.

Has your GP mixed and matched your pills or something!? Sounds odd but then I don't really know your circumstances!.

I think that you need a different type of pill!. the reason your period comes later then the week it is suppose to is b/c it takes that long to get the meds out of your system, then it takes the first week to get them back in!. You should never miss a pill!. I had a really hard time with that, so now i am on the nuva-ring!. it is awesome!. you should probably wait to have unprotected sex till have you see your dr!. After missing that many days of pills all the meds are out of your system!. hope this helps, its always good to talk to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
