You could inform your boss that you will be having a surgical procedure (be vague and do not share your situation!. If they are a good boss they will not ask if they ask your justified verbalizing that you do not wish to discuss it at his time) and that you will need a bit of personal time to recover the time you will need at this point has not been determined!. You feel it would be best to officially quit your job so they may find a replacement, but would like to know that you would be eligible for rehire if a position was open when and if you were available to come back to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just say you have many many months in recovery and they should understand!. Good luck with your surgery!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i wouldn't use it as an excuse, and you really don't need an excuse anyhow!. people quite jobs all the time!. you should do what you want, its your life not your neighbors!. if theres a better job take it, the neighbor should understand!. and just act grateful to your neighbor for helping you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be honest with the employer and give them your two weeks notice to quit!.
If you lie, they WILL find out and it could cause repercussions in the future!. Your neighbor may not help you in any way again because he/she will think you're a loser!.

Using your surgery as an excuse would be a lie!. Telling lies is never good!. Losers lie!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just ler them know that you are going to need sufficient time to heal and that you are going to need to take a break and that you would feel more comfortable quitting and then you might come back!.then when you are done you an just let them know that in that amount of time that you unexpectedly found another job where the pay is better!.it isnt your fault that you have found a better job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just say that you will be out of commission for an uncertain amount of time, and thus will respectfully resign, though you would like an opportunity to come back in time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, people switch jobs, it happens!. The thing to do is give as much notice as you can!. That is the sign of a responsible person!. Your neighbor can not fault you for wanting to do better!. Let them know that you are having surgery and you resigned so that they may fill your position without causing your boss a hardship of your absence for our recovery period, who could fault you for that one!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
