In average girls, there is a section of skin covering the opening of the vagina called a hymen!. It's thin and it does not completely cover the opening!. It's big enough to allow period flow!. The hymen is usually "torn" by using tampons or having sex (mine was due to sex)!. Microperforate hymen is when the hole is a!.) completely closed, or b!.) only open as big as a pencil!.
