Period Smell?!
Question: Period Smell!?
Ok well i use tampons for the first 5 days of my period, then for the last 2 i just use a light pad at night and a lightday during the day all it is on day 6 and 7 is a little brown discharge!. But it smells so foul i want to get rid of it, its smells like really gross feet and just ew!. Is it from the pad i am wearing!? becasue i wear tampons the whole time!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

the oder is from old blood!. It also comes from natural bacteria that lives in the body
And it comes from other bacteria that live on the blood in the pad!. Gross I know but all girls get it at one time or another!. Try doing a mini wash everytime you go to the bathroom with a babywipe or feminie wipe and change your pad or tampon every 2 hours so bacteria does not have a chance to thrive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

na, it is normal for the last few days to be a little brown discharge, this is just the last of the blood coming out of you!. your tampon should never smell bad though!. change it more often if you are having bad smelling tampons!.
you should still change a lightday as often as you would a maxi pad, even if you have very light discharge, otherwise it will start to smell like you said!. change every few hours and the smell will go away!. it's not just your period but also your sweat, think about it, it's like wearing plastic underwear - it traps all your sweat all day plus the last of your discharge!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that is completely natural!. I get it, and every other girl I know does also!. I just means your period is just about ended!.

Its totally normal for that to happen on your period!. Not all women get it but some do!. If it continues all month it could be an infection!. Then I would go see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
