Confused about ob/gyn yearly apt.?!


Question: Confused about ob/gyn yearly apt!.!?
My yearly appointment used to be in december but in fall of 06 I had an early pap that was abnormal and I had to have a repeat in 6 months, which was a year ago last april!. I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet to tell me to scheduale my yearly is that because they are waiting to put me back into my december time because of insurance!. I know it's been a year since my last pap and I'm starting to wonder if I should call and check!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah!.!.just call the office!.!.!.!.they may have pushed back the date of your yearly because you went in early due to the abnormal pap!.!.!.be sure to make sure that your insurance will cover your next appointment!.!.!.!.some medical insurance companies ONLY cover ONE pap every 12 months!. Your doctors office should know!. If not you'll want to contact your insurance company as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If I don't call mine, they don't call me!. I guess from the busyness of their practice and the possibility I've found another Dr!. they don't follow up on appointments!. I'd call!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What happened with the abnormal!? You should call and schedule an appointment, do not rely on your doctor to tell you when to take care of yourself, that is your responsibility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
