If you are, how did the doc put it in!?
I am just curious as to how it works really!.!.!.I am thinking about using that form of birth control after my next child!.!.!.Any info is greatly appreciated!.!.!.

Its so painful when they insert it plz take something if you can before you go!. They insert it in the regular office!. They use a large specullum thing to open 'the down there' and wipe numbing stuff (benzociane i think!.!.!.dunno) on ur cervix!. They put it in fairly quick but man did it hurt! The pain is very similar to labor pains when ur cervix is opening, but really i thought it was worse!. Im not trying to scare you just prepair u, this is a great form of birth control though!. I havent had any problems!. The small plasticky T shaped thing stays in ur cervix and the two small strings which feel similar to fishing line stay outside the cervix but inside the 'down there' and u should check for them twice a month ( and will poke you and ur partner if not cut to the proper length so if u feel it they should trim it) I had light spotting for the first month and a half but it was sort of just a continuation of the after birth spotting so really it wasnt that bad!. But now 8 months later i have no real problems in fact i mark my calendar as to when to check for the strings cuz sometimes it slips my mind that i even have it!. I do notice a little bit of acne on my chin but really not that bad!. And none of that craziness like comes from the pill or depo shot!. I hope you find what works for you!.
!.!.!.Oh and it is effective, my husband and i have unprotected sex frequently (i dunno if they totally reccommend that) but the freedom is great! And its ok to have it while breastfeeding!.
!.!.!.and its $500!.00 without insurance (at my office anyway) and to get it taken out (in five years or less if u want) it costs $200!.00!. But just think of it as an investment into your exsisting childrens happiness, you can always be a better mommy to fewer kids no matter what any one says!. But hey if you want a big family, go for it, i wish u a sane mind and alot of patience if you do want more, LOL!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
