Question: How can I convince my mother to go to the doctor's, when she is extremely stubborn!?
My mother is 58 and has not been to the doctor's in about 5 years!. I want her to at least get a check up, especially at her age!. I think she is scared because she was diagnosed with slight diabetes!. She is physically inactive!.

i think u should explain every thing to the Dr and see if the Dr would come out and make a house call, even tho its a bit harsh sort of trickin her in to talkin to a Dr but she should understand that u have her best interests in heart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would suggest going to your family physician together, meaning schedule an appointment for your self and your mother, and just ask her to accompany you!. Once there just reason with her that while she is there, might as well pay a visit to the doctor for a regular check-upWww@Answer-Health@Com
