Many people get those shots, and there are no problems, but if you are really concerned, I'm sure your doctor wont mind if you ask about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, Gardasil prevents cervical cancer, NOT breast cancer!.!.!.also it only prevent 4 types out of MANY strains of HPV, so it does not prevent all cervical cancer, and all HPV STDs!.

You must still have regular PAP/Gyno exams!. Cervical Exams are still the #1 best way to prevent cervical cancer because cervical cancer normally takes many years to develop and is easily treated if caught EARLY!

It is important to know that Gardasil is a VERY new vaccine, and we have very limited information on what effects it can cause in the far future!.!.!.only time will tell!.!.!.Gardasil was just approved in June, 2006!.!.!.and was actually fast-tracked by the FDA!.!.!.they basically approved it since it was shown to be safe and effective, but as far as bad effects, etc for everyone, we are stll learning and gathering info now that it is widely available!.

You should definitely ask your doctor if you have concerns!.!.!.

Gardisil is a vaccine for certain types of Cervical Cancer!.
It will not give you cancer!.
Let your friend know that she is misinformed because, as of the recent findings, there's no reason not to take the vaccine!.

You should definitely ask your doctor more about the Vaccine, because you should know everything you can about something that you're taking!.

But don't worry, it shouldn't give you cancer!.
