You have got to go to a doctor!. Try planned parenthood if you don't want your parents to know yet!. It could very well be an ingrown hair, but could also be a std such as herpes, warts, etc!.
I'm sorry if I'm scaring you, but you have to take care of yourself!!!
As far as telling him, personally I would see the Dr!. and then talk to him when you know what it is!. That way if it's an ingrown hair or something like that you don't have to say anything!.
