If you are young and going through puberty and have started bleeding, than that should definitely be your period!. There is no other normal reason that you would be bleeding!. For young women, periods are very unpredictable and irregular for a while!. They do not form a cycle for up to 2 years sometimes!. They might be short and then long, and you might skip a few months!. Some girls will even get their first one and then not have another for months or even a year!. I am sure that the irregular bleeding is your period!. You might have some spotting in between the big periods, and maybe even some different, dark colored discharge which is very normal for puberty!. Expect it to be a bit wacky for a while and just always be prepared with supplies!. If for some reason you don't think it's your period or if you have other weird symptoms, you might want to mention it to your mom!. It depends how old you are!. If you are 12 or 13 it probably is your period as the first year are so your body is developing a regular cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
