Answers:
Yes!.!.!. Hippa!.

Doctor/patient confidentiality!.

He can't tell her!.!.!. but state laws differ!.!.!.!.

He's not going to tell her!.!.!.

Don't be scared!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

laws are differrent in each state, call your health department and ask them, you should not have to give any information to them!. it is good that you are being safe with your activity, consider telling your mother the truth, it will make you feel better and you will grow closer to her!. it will be a shock to her, just give her time, mothers don't want their daughters to grow up and that 's what you're doing!. trust in your mother to tell her everything, she is their for you!. As far as the exam, yes, everything is scary when done for the 1st time, do what i do, tell the doctor you want to know what is going to be done right before they do it and to be gentle, i tell the doc i'm scared and can't take much pain!. they will be more apt to go slower and inform you of what is being done, but you have to tell them what you want, they are working for YOU!. speak your mind, and if anything hurts TELL THEM, they must know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a doctor cannot tell for sure whether you are sexually active or not, as alot of times injuries or strenuous activity can make it look (internally) like you are not!.

The doctor is not allowed to discuss this with your parents if you ask them not to!. It is what is called patient/doctor privilege!.

However, I think you should be open and honest about your sexuality with your mom!.!.!.she will probably be more open-minded about this than you think, and may agree to start you on some form of birth control to be on the safer side of the spectrum!.

Good Luck Sweetie!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor may not tell her anything you do not wish!. However I would suggest you think seriously about speaking to your Mother about this topic!. Especially if you are still sexually active!. You need to practice safe sex!. And believe it or not the mental issues that go along with sex can be harsh!. So please if not your Mom another adult you trust should be able to help you in these area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't say why your mom is taking you!. If there's a good reason to go, you can take your mom to the consulting room, but you tell her she can't be there for the examination!. And why should she be!? They normally have a separate little area for that!. And she can wait in the waiting room, anyway!. How well do you get along with your mom!? I wouldn't stand around while my daughter got an internal at your age!. Tell your mom you're going in alone!. She can talk with the gyno after, if she wants!. And tell the doc (when you are alone) that your mom doesn't know you are not a virgin!. Unless he/she is totally old fashioned, the subject need not come up!. Unless that's why your old mom is taking you there in the first place!! Even then, the doc does not have the right to interfere!. And don't be scared!. Stand up for yourself!. People get intimidated by doctors etc!., and they shouldn't!. You are the customer!. Speak up for yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why is she taking you if she doesn't know!? If you haven't had sex most doctors say you don't have to go until you're between the ages of 18 and 21 (varies with each doctor)!. Maybe she does know!. Why not just tell her!?

The doctor must keep confidentiality!. So unless its something that is harming you or others he cannot tell anyone!. Just make sure to go into the room alone and have your mother wait in the waiting room!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor is bound by doctor-patient confidentiality!. The doc can't tell anyone about you and your activities, unless they believe that your life or the lives of others are in danger!. I know it's scary, but doc's do this all day long, they are professionals, and they are only there to help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you better hurry up and tell them (doctors) that ur not a virgin anymore and tell them that u dont want mom to know, they wont tel her shyyt, but she may already know considering in Pennsylvania, you cant get a pap smere if you're still a virgin!. but i dont know where you are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your gynaecologist if you can have you appointment on your own, without your mum present as you feel a bit private about your check!.

You can then speak to your gynaecologist about what your relationship is and can it all be kept just between the two of you!.

Good Luck :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

no they cant!.!.there not suppose to if anything they will ask u and u can tell them u dun want ur mom to be in the room with u!.!.
dun be scared of her finding out!.!.be scared that ur about to feel the most uncomfortable thing ever!.!.goodluck
i hate getting my gyn exams its the worst!.!.but jus relax!.!.its going to be akward!.!.!.and she probably has a feeling ur having sex and thats y she is takin u cuz usually if ur under 18 the only reason u go to the gyn is to check for std's sti's and other sex related things!.unless she thinks theres a problem with ur ovaries or sumthin but thats rare in teens !.!.so she probably knosWww@Answer-Health@Com

If your mom is taking you there most likely she might know!. be honest with her about it!. I did not tell my mom I was having sex and i wish i did!. I was never taught about safe sex just taught not to have it!. I had my son at 16!. Who do you think your mother would rather hear it from you or the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask yourelf if ebing honest with your mother up front is going to be harder or easier than dealing with the stress of wondering if and when she might find out!. If you want her to think you are mature enough to have sex then you should try to be mature enough to speak to her about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They cannot tell her anything you don't want her to know!. Just tell the doctor you mom doesn't know and you don't want her to!. You have a right to privacy and the doctor has to respect that!. It is the law!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well first of all I am a guy,

But I highly doubt they will tell her, I would imagaine you would go in alone!. You ask to go in alone, tell your mom you want to!.

also the correct phrase is "I'm not a virgin anymore"Www@Answer-Health@Com

What is between you and the doctor is private, they can't tell her!. There is a doctor/patient confidentiality law!. Even though you are under 18, they still can't tell her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when i went the doctor asked me before we entered the room if i wanted my mom to know my personal things!. Many doctors will!. try to talk to your doctor before!.
maybe yuo should just sit and talk to your mom about it before!. she may understandWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think they can tell her!.

Why are you going to the gyno!?

If you are under 21 the only reason to go is if you are sexually active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
