Question: Polyps on my cervix!?
Im 16 and i found out that I have polyps on my cervix!. How do you remove them!?!? Are you awake or asleep when they remove them!? Does it hurt!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will be fine ! This is usually done while you are awake and it is done by freezing them wih a special substance!.
You may have some very mild cramping and some light bleeding afterwards---but nothing to worry about!.

your doctor will have to remove them with instruments that look scary!. you'll probably be awake, but they will probably put something on your cervix to numb it and advise you take ibuprofen before and after!. my aunt has a re-occuring polyp on her cervix and gets it removed every time she has a pap!. she says it doens't hurt too much!. i just had a colposcopy done and had a few biopsies taken from my cervix!. it hurt, but not worse than mentral cramps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
