It doesn't do anything to your uterus!. You were injected with hormones like the ones contained in the pill that trick your body into thinking it's pregnant which suppresses ovulation, just for an extended time frame so you don't have to take the pill every day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I am uncertain of exactly what it does to your uterus, but I was on depo for probably a year and a half!. Though it was nice not to have a period for some time, it wasn't fun it made me crazy as hell!. I'd be fine for like 3 weeks then crazy for 3 weeks and when I say crazy I mean a raving lunatic!. When I finally stopped getting the shot I bled for over a month straight!. Not fun I wouldn't get it again if I were you!. You should be fine at first might gain weight, I lost weight but definitely wouldn't suggest using for an extended length of time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It will take a long time to get pregnant once you're off it!. The hormones are so out of wack that it can cause damage, not to the uterus per se but to the adrenal glands!. I was on it for a year and it was a disaster!! Talk about mad acne!. i never had an issue with acne before that and I ended up wit huge purple welts on my cheeks!.
