First adivce is!.!.!.NEVER wear white while on your period!.!.!.Not undies, not pants, shorts, a skirt unless you are at the VERY end and can control it well!. When I got mine and until I was in high school, mine was very unpredictable so I just avoided light colors all together!. Second, try tampons (if you are comfortable with them) and a light pad together when your flow is heavy!. If you don't like the tampons, use thicker pads (get the ones with wings to protect your panties too) Just about any brand is fine, I usually get Always brand!. As long as they are very absorbant and take plenty of extras to change often!. I feel for you, I went through the same thing and it's terrible!. Good luck honey!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

during a heavy flow i like the always overnite with wings!.!.!. its almost like a diaper but does a good job when my period is very heavy!. also when i'm on my period i tend to bleed excessively i wear a tampon too!. they have tampons for teens or you can try the light tapons to start out with and then as you get used to them wear the medium to heavy flow tampons!. i would also recommend wearing a pad/pantyliner with tampons, sometimes they leak!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure you want it to go away but unfortunately it'll be around for a couple of days!. The best pad to use if you have a heavy flow is one intended for a heavy flow!. I'd recommend a maxi pad, specifically a long one because it had better coverage!. A maxi pad is perfect for wearing during the day because it's thin and undetectable, plus keeps blood from soaking through!. Just a tip, most women don't wear white pants if they have their period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok!. Get like an overnight pad sometimes when mine r heavy i wear those cuz they r thick and i wear those to school

or another thing i do is wear double underwear and put 3 thin pads layered on one another!. hope i helped! =]

Good Luck!. oh and whenever u have ur period, always bring a jacket and wear dark jeans and a long shirt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i use overnights
they're the only pad i will use
and i hate tampons
they suck
i know people with bad experiences
please dont switch to tampons
just go to overnights and you'll never have another leak!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

bless you!. you'll get used to it!. try a pad that is extra long and for a heavy flow, try always or bodyform!. keep extra pads and maybe even a spare pair of pants in your school bag!. do you have a big sister if not talk to your mum x xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Switch to tampons or use a thicker absorbancy of pad!. Also, change your pad/tampon more often on days when your flow is so heavy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try allways extra with wings as this will help keep your pad in place also it is high absorbancy, just any sanitary towel that are for heavy periods and that have wings =) good luck hun!.xWww@Answer-Health@Com

i wear tampons AND pads
pads are comfy but tampons work better

i had a REALLY bad heavy flow too
i switched to tampons

thats your best betWww@Answer-Health@Com

at the store there are much thicker pads and remember to change your pads every hour so that doens't happen!. good luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

try a longer pad from kotex they work well and i have never leaked throughWww@Answer-Health@Com
