Hi, Periods can be so unpredictable!. They can become irregular because of stress, worry, change in lifestyle, sudden weight lose/gain, medication!. Aother possibility is your period could have changed to become in sink with a close friend or family member, sounds odd but when you sweat your body gives out chemicals which can cause another girl's periods to sink with yours!.

If you really want it to be regular (and you're parents allow you to) you can go onto birthcontrol!. Birth control will make your periods come exactly every 28 days and probably shorten them to about 3 days too!. Some women also claim it helps period pain!.

Good luck- make sure you always have spare underwear, tampon/pads in your school bag just in case this happens again ;-)

it is totally normal to have an irregular period!. the irregularity comes a lot from stress, being tired, anything that can throw your body off!. just being a girl will throw it off too! (well, i guess girls are the only ones that have periods, but!.!.!.!.) ya!. just trying to say that since we are girls and our bodies are so complex, it is TOTALLY NORMAL to not have a regular period!. The irregularity is sometimes the only normal thing about it! i wouldn't worry sweetie! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's normal for it to be irreular, I don't think you can make anything about it!. Just be sure a week or so before the date you are supposed to have it, wear pads to be sure you won't have any more embarrassing incidents :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
