Help! Period almost 2 weeks late!?!

Question: Help! Period almost 2 weeks late!!?
Hey guys!. This is a question I'm asking on behalf of my friend who is going insane with worry!. She has been using the IUD as means of contraception (aka the coil) for the past two years!. Her period has always been regular and usually tends to come a few days earlier than it is due every month!. She slept with 3 men during the past month (she split with her fiance of 2 years and went on the rebound!) and her period is 12 days late which has not happened at all for the past two years whilst she has been using the coil as a contraceptive!. She has been ill with a virus lately and had alot of stress during the past month, could this have made it late!?
Please, has this happened to anyone else or can anyone give reasons not to worry!?

Thanks guys!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Worry, but not too much lol!. Yes stress can throw a period totally out of whack, it can even disappear entirely for a few months! But nonetheless, there is still the possibility that she could be pregnant, if she is 12 days past her period due date then a pregnancy test will definately show whether she is or not!. Naughty naughty lol, hope she learns from this!. If she is preggers, make sure she gets the coil out asap too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A couple things!.
Most contraceptives will cause your period to come late!. Some stop you from having periods, and some can cause you to have extended periods!. A lot of times you will have late periods with old yucky blood!.
That parts nothing to worry about!.
What you friend should know however, most contraceptives take at least a month to kick in, and its still not TOTALLY safe to have unprotected sex while using birth control!.
And not to preach, but three guys in one month!? Sounds like she needs some self-respect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't stress until its been a month!. But by then you REALLY HAVE TO FREAK OUT!. It's natual for things to changee!. But after a month I'd checkt o make sure you aren't pregnant and then if you still havent had it go to a doctor because there could possible be more to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be stress related and remember the IUD is not 100% infallible!. Best to take a pregnancy test and at the same time get checked for STD's as not a good idea to sleep around!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The IUD is not 100%!.!.!.nothing is!. Best thing for her to do is a preg test and go to the doctor and get tested for STD's!.And it could be stress that her period has not come yet!.!.!.Good luck to her !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
