Your most fertile time is the middle day between day one of your period and day one of your next period!.
So since you seem to start on the 11th of each month, we can assume you have a 30 day cycle!. So if you add 15 to 11 your most fertile day would be the the 26th of the month!. Since sperm can live inside you for 4 days you are NOT safe from the 22nd of the month thru to the 30th of the month!. But, you would also be crazy to rely on the dates only and should use a condom, sponge, diaphragm, IUD or hormonal BC or a combination of methods!.

if you have your period on the 11th, that's a funny coincidence!. it also means that you do not have super-regular cycles!. some are 28, some are 29, some are 30, etc!. i think you mean you have your period AROUND the 11th!. you are fertile 14-16 days BEFORE your first day of bleeding!. that means, in a 28-day cycle, you ovulated on the 14th day, probably!. sperm can live up to 7 days or so, so your "safe days" before ovulation are limited!.
at 17, you should NOT be using this method of birth control!. it requires careful attention to your body, charting, temperature-taking, cervical mucous observation, etc!.

You're fertile for a couple of days around the 25th of the month!. But you should always use contraception, as it's possible to ovulate earlier or later, and sperm can survive inside you for about 5 days!. There are no safe days!.
