Question: How long does loestrin 24fe take for effect!?
I started taking loestrin 24fe 3 weeks after i just had my first child!.!.!. can i still get pregnant if i had intercourse after a week of taking the pill!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

most bc pills say it takes a week to take effect!. it probably acutally takes a shorter time for most people, but they go by the highest time just to be on the safe side!. you should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it takes 3-4 packs before you can trust it!. it will not kick in within a weeks time!. this information will be in the pharmacy pamphlets and also your doctor should of told you that it will take 3-4 months!. the only instant b/c is the depo shot as far as hormones go!. very likely you could become pregnant again so use 2 forms of b/c until 3-4 months have passed!. best wishes and congrats on the baby!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
