I'm on Yaz birth control...am I being too paranoid?!

Question: I'm on Yaz birth control!.!.!.am I being too paranoid!?
I just started taking Yaz a few months ago!. I'm about half way through my second pack!. Everything has gone normal!. My period came when it was suppose to, I've never missed a pill, but still I keep worrying that it's not gonna work and I'm going to get pregnant!. My doctor said it wouldn't work until after the first pack, so we kept using alternative methods during that time!. Last night was the first time my boyfriend and I had sex without using any other forms of birth control!. It just kind of freaked me out, and I keep worrying that the birth control isn't going to work!.!.!.am I just paranoid!?

I'm not worried about anything else with not using other forms of birth control, because I'm in a strictly monogamous relationship and neither my boyfriend or myself have ever had sex with anyone else!. So, I'm not worried about STDs or anything!. I'm just worried about getting pregnant!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're taking it correctly, you won't get pregnant!. Birth control pills are 99!.9% effective when taken correctly!. As long as you take a pill every day (or whatever your specific instructions are), you won't get pregnant!. Don't worry!. I was a little paranoid when I first started taking birth control pills too, but I've been on them for 9 months now and they work great!. (I got married last year!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The website (first link) says Yaz is 99% effective at preventing contraception when taken correctly!. That means that if you are taking it correctly, there is a tiny chance of becoming pregnant anyway!.

Condoms alone (second link) have a higher risk of pregnancy!.

If getting pregnant would be world-shattering for you, it's best to use both the pill and a condom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you realize how unhealthy birth control is!? The reason you don't have your period is because it makes your body think you are pregnant, which is not good for your body, for instance gaining fat, not good, plus, pregnant woman aren't supposed to have sex, so doing so is especially bad for your body, and it ruins your drive!. Plus, research shows that married couples who use birth control are 75% more likely to get divorced, though I don't know the stats for non-married couples, they are probably equally bad!. If your guy is making you do this so as not to have a child, he probably cares more for your body for self fulfillment then you!. Sorry, this probably isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's true!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
