Question: Ok to stop condoms after being on the pill for one week!?
I was told its ok after one week to stop using condoms but im reading that you have to wait a whole cycle for it to take effect!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My doctor said i would be OK if i started it on the first day of my next period but suggested i used condoms anyway!. But i was only on the pill because me and my boyfriend don't like condoms( we find them an inconvenience) I never used a condom when i started but i starting to wonder if i should have after reading all this!. Doesn't matter now because I'm off the pill!. Anyway sorry for rambling!. I think just 14 days will be long enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

But honestly, I'd keep using condoms anyways!.
It's much safer, and there's still a little % chance of getting pregnant, even if you are on birth control!.
Especially if you forget to take it one day, or take it late, because some pills have to be taken at the same time everyday!.
But yeah, I'd say wait a month, if you really want to stop using condoms!. I'd suggest still using them anyways though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually that's wrong!. The birth control pill doesn't fully kick in and start taking action for 3 months!.!.You have to be on the pill for 3 months before you can stop using a condom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
