Answers:
Yep!.!.!. it's the lining of the uterus!. Each month the uterus prepares itself in case of conception!. That blood supply is there to nourish an embryo/fetus if it is conceived!.

Once your body realizes you're not pregnant, it begins to shed the lining and start the process all over again with fresh blood!. It breaks up the lining and you discard it via your period!.
It's really not THAT much blood!.!.!. something like half a cup per day, if I recall correctly!.

(If your bleeding is excessive it could be a sign of something that needs to be checked out by a doctor!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

it all depends, basically each month your body prepares to have baby [be fertilized] so the egg comes down and chills out waiting to get spermed right!? while its doing that it collects blood so it can be prepared to make a sac for the baby and begin creating it, once it is not spermed the egg and the excess blood stored travels down the vaginal cannel and comes out because it has no where else to go!.
When the concern of how much blood each month!. It all depends on your body, there is no such thing as too much or too little!. If you do not have a period or your period is extrememly heavy for more than 7 days on a contsant basis call your doctor preferably your ob-gyn and make sure you dont have a cist or infection!.
hope this helps girlie!.

The blood comes from blood vessels in your uterus!. Every woman is different when it comes to blood loss!. Some have heavier periods, some are blessed with light bleeding!.

We lose all that blood, because the egg (ovum) that didn't get fertilised and the lining, your womb created in case you got pregnant, needs to be flushed away!.

About 3 -5 days after our periods, we release an egg, and a thicker coating of the womb occurs, all in case you make a baby!. If you don't make a baby (I'm not telling you to get pregnant), your body gets rid of this!. Blood vessels (not arteries) open to let blood come out!.

If your periods become really heavy (like needing overnight pads during the day a few times a day or you experience pain, see a doctor!.

A normal cycle is 28days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

After one period is over, your uterus builds up a layer called the endometrium, which has some blood in it, but isn't all blood!. When your body does this, it's to get ready to become pregnant - the endometrium is where a fertilized ovum implants and it helps to nourish it as it grows!.

If you ovulate and the egg doesn't get fertilized (through unprotected sex with a man), your body sheds the layer and starts again!.

Even when you're on the pill, you get a period for the week you take the placebos - the pill just causes you to stop ovulating altogether, but when you stop taking the hormone pills, your body is tricked into having a period, and they're usually much lighter than normal periods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Blood builds up in the lining of the uterus that prepares to nourish a possible embryo!. Estrogen levels builds up during that time!. If you don't have a baby though, the blood is not needed, and is therefore expelled after ovulation : ) Your period should only last less than 5 days, and you don't that much blood unless you've been eating foods that enhance circulation!. If you take good care of yourself, then you shouldn't lose so muchWww@Answer-Health@Com

its because the lining of the uterus wall falls off and with it there is blood!. some people bleed more because they have more lining and some less!. It is important that this happens every month that way the next egg that is released can attach itself to the wall!. when the next period comes it is taken away with the rest of the lining so the next one can come!. hope this answers your question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the blood from your period comes from your uterine wall detatching itself!. it was originally there preparing for the egg if it was in fact to become fertilized by male sperm, before anyone says anything yes women have sperm too just very little!.anyways when the egg is not fertilized the body automatically "cleans out" your uterus and there is your period!. everyone has a different flow sometime it can be a lot sometimes a little!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, it's not all blood!. It's a mixture of a small amount of blood and the uterus lining!. So once a month the lining in your uterus comes out if your egg that came from the falopean tube isn't fertilized by sperm!. ok every month the womens uterus gets ready to be pregnant!. so an egg comes out of the ovaries and does not get fertilized!. when the body realizes that it is not pregnant it will flush all that has built up on the uterus walls out!. that is why you have a period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you get your period you are shedding the lining of the uterus and the unfertilized egg!. The blood comes form your circulation and is a lot less than you think it is!. It is considered healthy to lose some blood occasionally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

nothing to stress about!. it's a small hole that breaks so it can renew itsself!. and then it closes up and heals!. then it starts again!. it's a cycles!.
