i didnt get my period yet but i have a feeling im gonna get it soon!. in the summer at camp they make you swim!. i dont think i would want to wear a tampon yet!. if i have my period when its swim what do i do!? can you wear a pad with a bathing suit or what!? im confused!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
if you start you period before you go to camp you can go to the doctors and they can give you some pills to delay your period!. Otherwise just explain you can't swim cos it's that time of the month :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

you mean you have NEVER goten your period, or you just haven't gotten it for this MONTH!? it makes a difference!. anyway, i suggest talking to a female camp counseler about your situation and they won't make you swim!. when i have my period during the summer i just don't go to the pool and say "i just don't feel like it today"!. and not wearing a tampon is actually better!. after the first few years of having your period, it's safer to wear one and becomes a personal preference!. tampons, if not used right, can cause vaginal diseases, however more convienent and swim-friendly they may be!. pands on the other hand have no risk of any diseases that i know of!. i guess i'm rambling now, but hey, it's a tidbit of information you may not already know! in short, camp counselers will understand your situation!. i'm sure you won't be alone this summer on this subject!. best of luck and have fun at camp!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

tell the camp counselors you that your not able to swim becuase you can't wear tampons or tell them you don't know how to swim and come up with a good excuse!. You can't wear a pad while your swimming cuz it would be like a wet diaper!. Plus imagine if you went to a pool and foundout someone was having their period in it!. I would throw up cuz that's a gross thought!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can, i imagine it would be awkward though!. Water stops the flow, though!. I went on vacation to a lake once right when i got it!. I sucked it up and used a tampon!. I still don't use them regularly, but it wasn't that bad!. I have gone swimming when i had it without anything, and nothing happened!. I just went to the bathroom as soon as i got out!. Or, if you're really worried, talk to a female counselor and ask if you can skip swimming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't wear a pad with a bathing suit, but let me tell you this: you won't start when you are in water!. You may start afterwards, but never while in water!. I would get the light-day tampax pearl with plastic applicator!. It slides in very easily!. But if you are going to try a tampon for the first time, only put it in after you know you've started!. Here is a website that may help you: http://www!.tampax!.com/howtouse!.php!?topic!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Either skip the swimming, or try out the tampon!. Tampons seem evil, but once you learn how to use them, it's really much less messy than pads!. Get yourself a pack and read the directions so you know how to insert them and even take one out and practice pushing the white tampon part out of the applicator so you know how it works, then throw it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, you cant wear a pad in the pool!. it'll absorb water!. you have to use a tampon if you are on your period in the pool!. it's common courtesy!. some people say it stops while you are in the pool, i dont know if that is true or not, but if you use a light tampon, they are small and will not be uncomfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you get your period and its time to swim just tell your counselor!.!.!.They'll understand!. and no, you cant wear a pad with a bathing suit!. the water will soak into it, it will become heavy, the sticky part wont stick anymore and it will float to the top!. yes, that would be extremely embarrasing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it will get wet!. They do have different size tampons from small to large!. I suggest you try all three sizes to see which one fits best and or to practice the correct way to use them!. Follow the dirrection on the box: use the pictures and instruction step by step to practice!. You will know when you don't feel it while walking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No pads with bathing suits!.
You may have to tell the counselor at camp that you cannot participate!. They cannot MAKE you swim!.
Chances are that you won't be having your period that week anyhow, right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

just go swimming!. don't have to wear a pad or a tampon!. the bleeding should stop as soon as you get into the water, just try and be in the water as much as possible and hurry and get changed as soon as ur done swimming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't wear a pad when swimming!. Because then your pad will swell with water and everyone can see it!. If you don't want to use a tampon!. sit out and don't go in the pool!. Tell whoever is making you swim that you are on your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do not wear a pad if you are going to go swimming and if you're really that scared tell a camp staff person to give you pass and you should be fine until you are comfortable enough to wear a tamponWww@Answer-Health@Com

The only way you can swim is with a tampon, try them out you might like them, but if you are not comfortable, you can not swim, I'm sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you must swim with a tampon Because pads will absorb the water you should wear a tampon in the water then when you get out switch to a padWww@Answer-Health@Com

No pad with bathing suit!. Tampon is an option, or you can just sit it out and go do another activity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No I wouldn't wear a pad while swimming!.!.!.The only choice you have is to either wear a tampon or go and tell the teacher the truth!! She/He will understand!!
