Night Sweats?!
Question: Night Sweats!?
I'm 40 have night sweats where I am drenched from head to toe and hair soaking wet!. I get the chills and shake a little, and then I get so hot!. I've had this for 4 years!.
Is it pre-menopause!? Also, i have Polys and get surgeries every 2 years!.
No!. I take no drugs, or medication, or pills!. Have only asthma, and high blood pressure--that's it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am probably right in the middle of going through early menopause!. The past year and present is absolutely the worst time I have had with it!. Recently, my hot flashes and night sweats got so bad that I could not get any sleep!. Then my immunity suffered and I got a terrible cold that lasted over 4 weeks!.
I checked out answers on this site and discovered an over-the-counter medicine called "Remifemin!." Another poster said don't take it because it's Black Cohosh and could cause liver damage, mimic estrogen level increase, etc!. I couldn't take my suffering, so I ordered Remifemin online and began taking it approximately one month ago!. On the container, it says it's the #1 doctor recommended OTC med!.
Well, I am now finally able to sleep!. My period hasn't come, but my hot flashes and night sweats have reduced to zero!. I can't believe it! I will stay on this medicine and hope for the best!. I don't want to go on hormones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be pre-menopause or some other irregularity in your hormones!. Your doctor will be able to tell for sure!. All I can tell you is I'm 33 and I've had them along with hot flashes ever since I was pregnant at age 20!. For me, it's irregular hormone levels!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like menopause!. my sister had it at 30!. she takes the pills for it-natural ones!. ask a female doc for more infoWww@Answer-Health@Com
