Yes I would get the morning after pill ASAP!. You can still ovulate right after you period ceases!. Plan B is most effective if taken within 24 hours of the sexual intercourse but can be effective up to 72 hours afterward!. Some studies have shown that Plan B can be effective up to 96 hours after intercourse but I believe that is fairly inconclusive!. If you're curious as to how it works, it prevents three things!. Ovulation, fertilization and implantation!. If you have already ovulated then it can still be effective by preventing the other two!. It's imperative to take Plan B asap so I suggest you purchase it soon!. It will cost you around 45 dollars and can be bought over the counter at Walgreens or any other pharmacy!. Plan B pill is similar to a large dose off birth control and it comes in two pills!. One to be taken initially and then another to be taken at a designated time after the first (I believe 12 hours after the first)!. Follow the directions carefully and read the pamphlet on general information!. Just to warn you, Plan B can cause nausea and cramping (other symptoms too but these are the most prominent) and it can also delay or cause you to skip your next period!. Good Luck!

There's not a big chance of you getting pregnant but there still IS a chance!. the only way that you won't get pregnant is by not having sex at ALL!.
