ok, my mum got in from work and she was all stressy!. she normally is, but tonight she was REALLY stressy!. and then she rang her freind asking for a lift to the hospital!. i was like what!? but she ignored me!. i was pretending to listen to music and then she said well ill text you the word and then you will have to have practice saying it!. because i need a COLPOSCOPY!. what is that!? i dont know what it is for!?!.!.!.!.

well it is a closer look at your mom's va*ina!. normally doctors do this because during Pap smear( va*ina check up) they saw inflamation(or swelling) up there!. so something could be wrong, but at the same time everything could be normal!. so its not guarenteed that your mom has something wrong with her, but at the same time the doctors found something they think they need to look at more in her va*ina!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
OK, a COLPOSCOPY is a procedure that is done when a doctor wants to take a closer look at the cervix to look at pap smear results that may show something abnormal!. These are commonly done and until the results are known, your mom should not worry too much, although she sounds like a worrier!.
