Answers:
By doing so, it is showing respect to the person and their home!. It has nothing to do with a foot fetish!. Some people (guests) have dirt or who knows what on the bottom of their shoes!. They would like to keep that off their carpet and floors!. There are many germs and bacteria on the bottom of shoes, just like on the bottom of women's purses!.

It may be embarrassing to the person who has smelly feet or ugly toes, etc, but the person who is asking for you to take them off isn't looking at that!. They just want to keep their floors as clean as possible!. There is nothing wrong with that at all and you abide to show your respect for their living space!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

in fact, thats a rule at my house!. I have every guest to remove their shoes in front hallway!. I kinda took that custom from my Japanese friends!. I don't mind when i visit other peoples house, and they ask to remove your shoes!. I don't mind it all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

people just dont want you to track in mud and dirt!.!.!. i have a friend who is allergic to dust and tries to keep that sort of bacteria out of her house!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I always take mine off when I go inside some ones homeWww@Answer-Health@Com
