Question: Please only answer if you have EXPERIENCE or KNOWLEDGE about this!.!.!.!?
Hey, sorry, i just don't want incorrect info that will send me panicing!.

Im wondering if i could be pregnent!?

Im 18 years old and have fairly regular periods(give or take a couple days)- there usually around the 17th!.
I had unprotected sex about a month and a few days ago(day after my period finnished-24th March maybe) and took the morning after pill or emergency contraception (whatever you want to call it) the next day!.

I had the 'light bleed' like 5 days after and it lasted a couple days (i think)!.
Then i had my actual period which started on friday 25th April(which is about a week late) and it only lasted 4 days when usually it would last 6 or 7!.!.!.wasnt really normal!.

I know the pill messes up you periods so is this just that happening or should i be more worried!?

Please no lectures about STDs!.

Thanks in advanced!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think you should be too worried!. I think the morning after pill just messed up your period a bit!. What I would do is start tracking your period on a calendar, marking the first day of bleeding as day one, count how many days you bleed for and if its light moderate or heavy!. This way you will be better prepared in the future if your cycle gets wonky again!.

If your periods aren't back to normal in a few months see your doctor about it just to be sure everything is OK!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is likely that the disturbance to your normal menstrual pattern is caused by the progestogen contained in the emergency contraceptive!.
However the emergency contraceptive is not 100% effective!. It does not prevent pregnacy 100% of the time!. It is not possible for you to tell whether or not you are pregnant without testing!. A drug store pregnancy test will be your best initial indicator of this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It probably IS the EC messing with your cycles!.

To put your mind at ease -- even though you DID have a period (even if it wasn't "typical" !.!.!. remember the pill can do this!) -- take a pregnancy test!. For less than $20 you will have a fairly good idea of whether or not you'd have reason to worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no chance of getting pregnant if you had sex on the day just after period!. EC was not needed!. You are not pregnant!. Do not worry i am 100% sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are probably stressed about it and the pill messes up your periods!. I think that's the reason!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it may just be your bc you should take a pregnacy test yea they cost about 15 dollars give or take but it will be worth to knowWww@Answer-Health@Com

Stop worrying! It sounds like the "morning after" pill screwed your body up a little bit!. You had your period for 4 days in a row: that tells me you are baby free!. Plus, you had the normal 5 day bleeding that comes when you take the pill!. So, you aren't pregnant!. It may take your body another month to get back in order!. I do have experience and knowledge considering I am 36 with 2 children and I am a youth pastors wife!. I have helped girls in your situation in the past!. So, stay calm and I promise no lectures:) Good luck and God bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does just sound like the EC pill -- that sometimes can throw your system WAY out of wack!. One time it made me two full weeks late!.

If you're still worried, though, you may want to take a pregnancy test -- NOT because I think you're pregnant, but because that may be what it takes to stop your brain playing tricks on you!. That's what finally worked for me when I was made late-- I was getting more and more nervous, but when I finally saw that result was negative, I just thought, "ah! evidence I can actually see!" And that's what finally made me stop worrying!.

It sounds like you're TOTALLY fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
