Not having my period this month cause my cravings???!


Question: Not having my period this month cause my cravings!?!?!?
So my last period was on March 27th 2008!. i didnt get mine this month b/c i skipped it on purpose cuz of a family get together!. I take birth control pills so thats how i was able to skip it this month!. My question is!.!.!.!. can doing this cause me to get cravings for certain foods!?!? cuz ever since i skipped my period i have been having the BIGGEST cravings for sweets!.!.!. whatever kind of sweets!. chocolate, candy, jam, gum, frosting whatever is sweet!. By the way i've been on the pill for 4 years now so i'm pretty sure it well worked into my body

Can this be caused b/c i didnt take the 4 day break and continued to put hormones in my system!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, there aren't any known side effects to skipping your period, they just don't recommend it because there could be some unknown side effect!. The cravings are probably just cravings, my wife's avoided her period before and didn't feel any different!. Woman in the military usually skip all they're periods!. The cravings could also be a nutritional deficiency, when you're body's low on something it starts craving things it thinks will have what you need!.!.!.maybe you're low on some vitamin in some sweets!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Generally, food craving after prolonged pill phases is not very common, even unlikely!. However, every woman react differently and thus it might be the case!.

There are women who take birth control pills continuously (not recommended / depending on the sort of pill) and they rarely report cravings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

After my first period, my second one got skipped too!. and the one after my first one finally came and when it did, it was pretty heavy so watch out!Www@Answer-Health@Com
