Everyone has different symptoms when it comes to yeast infections!. I was suprised when I got my first one that my doctor told me it was a Y!.I!. because I was just itchy!. No funny discharge or anything else at all!.

If this is your first time you should go to the doctor!. Keep in mind though all women have some sort of smell to their discharge, and each a different smell!. It all depends on your genes and what you eat!. But no, its not bad if you use something like monistat just in case!. Actually I just had my second one recently after I went off my birth control pills!.!.!. and I wasn't 100% if it was a Y!.I!. so I went and got some Monistat and used it anyways!. My symptoms are now gone so I assume it was the start of one!.

Your symptoms don't sound so bad so I would suggest you buy a 3 day treatment of Monistat!. There are 1 day, 3 days, and 7 day treatments, 1 day usually isn't enough for most people, 3 works good if its not a full blown or neglected yeast infection, 7 day may be unecessary considering your symptoms!. 7 day is usually good for severe yeast infections!. So, no, it won't hurt to use a treatment just in case!. May run you about $15 - $20!.

But if you do try using a treatment and the symtoms don't go away, make an appointment with your doctor and tell him/her you already tried a treatment!. They'll figure it out from then on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Glands inside your vagina and cervix make small amounts of fluid!. This fluid flows out of the vagina each day, carrying out old cells that have lined the vagina!. This is your body's way of keeping your vagina healthy and clean!. The discharge is usually clear or milky and doesn't smell bad!.

The color and thickness of the discharge change with your monthly cycle!. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate (when one of your ovaries releases an egg), when a woman is breastfeeding or when a woman is sexually excited!.

Changes that may signal a problem include an increase in the amount of discharge, a change in the color or smell of the discharge, and irritation, itchiness or burning in or around your vagina!. This is called vaginitis!. A discharge that's stained with blood when you're not having your period could also be a sign of a problem!. Some other types of infections such as yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis can also cause discharge that is usually accompanied by odor such as beer/yeast/fish!.

I would recommend that if you have any of these signs or any concerns regarding this you consult with your doctor for a proper diagnosis and for proper treatment should you have anything other than just a normal vaginal discharge!.

Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that perhaps you should maybe make an appointment with your doctor for a vaginal pH test to really make sure that you know what it is!. You shouldn't use medications when you don't have the problem that they are intended for!. Remember that there are many kinds of vaginal infections, not just yeast!.

If you don't want to go to the doctor, there is this new screening kit for vaginal infections that you can do yourself in the privacy of your own home!. Its called Vagisil Screening Kit for Vaginal Infections!. They are about 15-20 dollars and are reliable and easy to use!. And, they take into account other possible vaginal infections!. You can even order them online or buy them at your local Walgreen's! Below is a link!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No itching then it's probably not a yeast infection!. Make an appointment with your doctor and have it checked out before it gets worse!.
