i am 17, i don't want any side affects like weight gain, i want to be able to have a baby when i am ready like i dont want to become infertile after stopping use of the birth control!. i want to be sure i will be able to have a baby!. i already had one abortion when i was 14 and a miscarriage about a month ago!. also i take adderall for ADD so nothing that affects that drug either!. help with a decision!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talk to a counselor at Planned Parenthood, they should be able to help you pick out a right one!. Because of your age, you most likely will only be able to get the pill and condoms (IUDs are not usually given out that easily)!. I'd say to go for a low-dose pill, which is less likely to cause weight gain, and also use condoms in order to prevent STD spread and to serve as an additional safeguard against pregnancy!. Neither will affect your adderall, so don't worry about that! Again, just talk to someone at Planned Parenthood, they're awesome about informing you of all your options and giving you birth control at reasonable prices!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
