Extremely PAINFUL periods. Anyone out there to help?!

Question: Extremely PAINFUL periods!. Anyone out there to help!?
Is 20 days too short for a cycle, I get my period every 20 days!.

When I get it, I feel really sick!. I felt dizzy and lightheaded!. Turns out I think that was PMS!. Can that be possible!?

I also get severe cramps, which I'm having right now!. I want to curl up in a ball because they get this bad!. And when I go to the bathroom during my period, something hurts way inside!. It hurts really bad to go!. I can sneeze and it will make it hurt that much more!.

So, my questions are:

-Is a 20-day cycle too short!?
-Is it possible to become dizzy and lightheaded before you get your period!? Or was that just coincidence!?
-Why do I get severe cramps!?
-Why does it hurt to go to the bathroom ONLY on my period!?

I've talked to my doctor about this and they simply said "Everyone is different!. Some have more/less pain than you do!. It's something we all have to deal with!." So I was all EFF you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Severe period pains should always be investigated to check for a treatable cause!. As a rough guide, if you've had severe period pain (known as dysmenorrhoea) since around the time your periods first started, it's less likely a particular cause will be found!.

There are exceptions to this!. Conditions such as endometriosis can sometimes cause severe pain from an early age (although the pain typically gets worse as the disease does more damage with each monthly cycle)!. Other causes include fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease and sometimes a narrowing of the cervix!. Bear in mind, though, that period pains are rarely a sign of disease, especially in younger women!.

If the pain interferes with your life, preventing you from working, going to school or coping with daily tasks, I would recommend you consult with a different doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation and second opinion!.

Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

your GP was right everyone is different!. Have you tried a hot water bottle it really does ease the cramps and plenty of rest!. Make sure your diet is regulated and not too much sugar!. its just something that women have to put up with!. Hurting when you go to the bathroom, maybe a urine infection!. Have you had a smear test!? is everthing in good working order!. There maybe an underlying problem but only your GP can help you answer that!. STD can cause major pain but that would be all the time and not necessarily just when you are menstruating!.

I hope that helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Do you do annual gyn visits!. If not, it's time to start!. Get everything checked out and ask them how you can have your period less painful!. If everything turns out to be normal, you might be able to start birth control pills, which will give you a lighter and more regular period cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go back - have you had it ALL your life!? if not defo go back and get it checked out by a different doctor!

good luck !.!.!.xWww@Answer-Health@Com
