Nausea in the morning?!

Question: Nausea in the morning!?
Okay first of all I am not pregnant, this had been going on for a couple of months, and I took a test after my last period was virtually nonexsistant, and it was negative!.

So yeah, for the past couple of months, mostly since my last flu I have been nausiated in the morning!. Its not automatic, only with stimulation, like mucus (I get mucus build up overnight-but always have without this problem before), or as simple as brushing my teeth!. I only threw up once, it dosn't usually lead to that!.

Usually I just spend the first half hour as I get ready gagging and trying to swollow the nasua!.
Any ideas!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have this same problem!. Do you have any other stomach issues!? I have something that they have yet to diagnose (probably IBS) and after a bout of food poisoning in december it took me nearly a month go get back to "normal"!. Taking a probiotic supplement (like Acidophilus) really helped!.

That being said, I just answered this question on here a few days ago, so here's my reply again:

Here are some things to look at:

1) Are you getting enough sleep!? When I get up early in the morning it's almost guaranteed I got less than 8 hours of sleep, because my husband works til midnight, and I can't sleep without him, so getting to sleep early is very hard!. When I don't have to be up early and I just let myself sleep until I wake up, I don't feel queasy!. Studies on IBS have shown that fatigue can make your digestive system iffy!.

2) What are you eating at night!? Having a very empty stomach can make you queasy!. If you go to bed hungry, or eat mainly carbs at night, your stomach will be empty by the time you get up!. Try something high in protein like half an hour before bed because protein takes longer to digest, and that way your stomach won't feel as empty in the morning!.

When you get up and feel queasy, try eating a banana or some applesauce!. Both are very easy on the stomach!. Or, and I do this when I feel REALLY bad, try a peppermint candy!. The peppermint oil helps to settle your stomach, and the sugar gets a little something in there so it's not so completely empty!. Waiting like half an hour after the peppermint or banana to eat something else also usually helps me!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well you still could be pregnant but forget that for now!.

What is probably happening is that over nite you are swallowing all the back drip from your sinuses and by the morning it has accumulated in your stomach!.!. This can make you very nausea's!. What you can do is get some sinus meds to dry it up or musinex and give it a try!. If you don't get better go to Dr!. and see what he says!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if u are taking any medications it could be a side effect try eating crackers to help with the nausea if it doesnt go away then i would reccomend u see a docWww@Answer-Health@Com
