i'm on 2 antibiotics and i just got a yeast infection!. i'm absolutely terrified of monistat, and i just don't know what to do!. Will it go away on it's own!? or if I leave it alone will it not go away!? I'm 14 years olddd!. Please Help! thank you soo much!! =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it will not go away on its own!. Antibiotics will NOT make it go away, they are actually probably what caused it because they kill the "good bacteria" in your vagina that keeps the yeast under control!. (You always have a small amount of yeast in your vagina, you only get a YI when there is too much!.)
I know you're scared but monistat really does not hurt at all, and it will make you feel much better!. Better yet talk to your mom and have her take you to the doctor!. It may be embarrassing, but the doctor can actually give you a pill to kill the yeast (if it won't interact with your antibiotics, I'm not sure!.)
I know it sucks hon, but don't let it be, because it could get so much worse!. Best of luck!

i just asked this question so i can fill u in on what people told me!. im not sure if it goes away on its own, someone told me that she got her period and it just went away!. antibiotics can cause yeast infections so if you dont need to take them then i wouldnt!. eat natural yogurt and drink cranberry juice!. theres also over the counter tablets that you can take to make it go away!. try going to walgreens and those type of stores and look for the tablets!. dont just leave it alone because it could result into something worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Don't be afraid of monostat!. Its there for a reason, and that reason is yeast!. Antibiotics dont help because that yeast is not a bacteria!.

sadly it will not go away!. antibiotics cause yeast infections, your best bet is trying one of those one time treatment instead of a 3 to 7 day treatment!. i know they burn and suck but you have to get rid of it!. ask your mom i'm sure she knows whats best ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Antibiotics cause yeast infections!. You need to take some probiotics!. There are natural ones or you can get a prescription!. You can also cut out yeast, bread and sugars in your diet!. This will help the yeast infection calm down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
This might sound weird, but it really works! Dab vinegar water on the "area" every time you go to the restroom!. It got rid of mine the first day I started! Just mix a little in a jar and leave it in the bathroom!. Use a cotton ball to apply it in the infected area!. I hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Talk to your mother or another adult, she can get you the proper medication!. They don't go away on their own, but are easily treated with over the counter medications or you can get a doctor to prescribe diflucan (much faster)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
