Could this be heart disease?!

Question: Could this be heart disease!?
I have just had a baby 6 weeks ago, he was 11 weeks early, he is doing fine, actually coming home on Saturday, but for the past couple of weeks I have been having some chest tightness, and shortness of breath and a little cheast pain!. I went to my normal doctor yesterday for anxitey, she put me back on Prozac (I took it before I was pregnant and stop while pregnant) and I told her of my chest pain, and she listened to my lungs and heart and all that good stuff and didnt say anything about it, just said she would see me back in a month!. I am about 5'6 and 234lbs (overweight I know, but I have lost 30 pounds while being pregnant, and I have begun to eat healthy and walk) Does it sound like I might have early signs of heart disease!?!? I go back to my gyeno next week for my six week check up, but just wondering from people who have had it or know about it~ Thanks~Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, it may just be the anxiety attacks since you have been off your meds, but you should schedule an appointment with a heart doc to check you over (do an ecocardiogram) to be sure it isn't a heart problem since you are overweight!. Good job on the new changes, this can help you greatly (and you child)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, it could be panic disorder because that is very common postpartem!. I got it badly!. But you should also ask for a EKG since you are having chest pain!. Even if you are young it doesn't hurt to get checked out thoroughly!. Sometimes doctors just throw meds at us without doing tests!. So I would ask for a EKG and some testing just to be sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like panic attacks!.!.but please ask your doctor !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You never know!.!. i'd say lose some weight and see how it is afterwards!.!. heart attacks are usually described as an intense and acute "crushing" feeling!.
It could also be GERD-gastroesphageal reflux disease!.!. which is basically acid reflux but it can cause tightness and sometimes even SOB when it's really bad!.!. what's your diet like!?
try eliminating acidic foods- or when you get that feeling again, take a tums/rolaids- those are the best antacids! If it goes away with those, then it could be acid reflux- if not, it could be Angina (chest pain)- Does it go away when you rest!? Or lie down/change positions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
