Question: I had to stop taking my birth control pills!?
I stopped taking my birth control pills after the first week of active pills!. I got my period on Tuesday and it's really heavy!. I've heard this is normal!. Will it last longer than my regular period!? Should I be concerned!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you shouldn't be that concerned!. your periods may be irregular for awhile!. were you irregular to begin with!? if so, that will continue since you are not on them anymore!. I had taken bc from the time I was sixteen until I was 23!. My periods were crazy irregular and heavy when I went off the pill!. I went back on the pill at 26 and I am back on track and my periods are light and only three to four days long!. So yes I would not be too concerned but if things get worse of course please go to the doctors to get checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
