Spend the money and get waxed!! There is a product called Tend Skin, use it for the ingrown hairs!.

Waxing will last more than just one day and when the hair grows back it will be soft and you will find the more you do it the less hair will grow back!.

Call your a local spa and find an aesthetician that is comfortable with bikini and brazilian waxes!. A bikini will clean up the sides and a brazilian will take off more, you and the aesthetician will have to talk about how much "more" is!.
(your husband will enjoy the brazilian, he will think he has a new toy :o) )Www@Answer-Health@Com

Soak for about 5 minutes before you shave, it softens the hair!. Any more than that and you wont get a close shave!. They make "specialty" shaving creams that might reduce the razor burn!.!.!.!.but I havent found anything that works any better than soap!. Shave WITH the growth of the hair, not against the grain!.!.!.that will GREATLY reduce the razor burn you experience!. Honestly though, if you are very hairy, and this is a constant issue!.!.!.look into a brazilian wax!. It's painful, but lasts for weeks!. You do need to let the hair grow out though before you do it!. Anyway, after shaving, icing the area is helpful for the swelling, you might try icing for 30 minutes or so, every couple of hours!. Also, an anti-allergen cream like benadryl might help if you are sensitive to the metal in the razor(do you have trouble wearing cheap earrings!?) and neosporin will help prevent the bumps as well!.!.!.after shaving!. It's the oldest question in the book!.!.!.!.and there's no sure-fire remedy!. You just have to keep trying things until you find what works best for you!. Oh, an electric razor shouldnt give you razor burn!.!.!.although your shave wont be as close!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get a wax before you go on vacay, it will stay smooth lots longer than shaving!. Also try exfoliating the area first when shaving (to prevent ingrowns), always use a sharp fresh razor in that area (to prevent razor burn), and there is a product on the market (sorry I forget the name Bikini Zone maybe!?) that you can buy to help with bumps and irritation!. I would look for it in the razor/shaving cream aisle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i use something called Bikini Zone and its a blue bottle!! its not hard its more like rubber kind of like what a sunblock would come in!.also conditioner would work!! i use men razors which shave smoother!. here is a website of what my sister uses and she said it works good! hopefully everything goes ok for you and you have fun on your vacation!.
