Sore breasts in elderly?!
Question: Sore breasts in elderly!?
My 82 year old Mother is complaining about her left breast off and on soreness!. Only this past January she had a memogram and showed no signs of any cancer!. She examined the breast and does not feel any lumps!. We are going to the doctor today for other reasons!. I am just wondering what could it be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My grandma had issues in her chest area that made it seem like it was her heart and it turned out to be a condition called costochondritis!.
I bring this up because this pain in her breast area could be related to this condition which is an inflammation of the cartillage around the ribcage!.
I would recommend consulting a geriatric specialist as well!. Geriatric doctors are doctors that help with the treatment of the elderly in a way that regular family doctors can't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
