True! I was on the pill for 12 years and recently went off it two months ago because of everything I'd been reading/hearing about artificial hormones!. I haven't had a period since!. The reason is that something else is telling your body when to have a period, so it doesn't know how to regulate itself anymore!. So basically your body is starting over from scratch!. It took my friend 6 months to get her period after stopping the pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
All I really know is that my friends stayed regular for a while after stopping, but then gradually began going crazy again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
