Vaginal odor...?!

Hello ladies!. I've just recently had my first Depo shot in mid-March and since then I've noticed a persistant odor that's developed!. I'm very big on personal hygiene, especially there, and I've always taken very good care of myself!. Actually, to be perfectly honest, it's not a bad odor: it's that "after sex" smell that would usually be there for a day or two and then disappear!. But it seems like after the first time I had sex with my husband after Depo, the odor hasn't gone away!. I douche regularly (just with water though because clinicians advise against traditional douches) and clean her very well in the shower, but it still lingers!. Not very strongly; my husband doesn't even notice, but I do and it makes me feel unclean!. Have any of you been in a similar situation!? How did you get rid of it!? First of all, stop douching! Even if you are using "only water" you are doing two things -- one, you're washing away the necessary bacteria your vagina needs to keep away infection, and two, you're likely washing bacteria back up into your body!.
