Question: Is it normal for your ovaries to hurt!?
I have been feeling a weird feeling where my ovaries are for teh last couple of days!. It feels like it has goten better, but it still worries me a bit!. Its usually just one!. The sides varry!. It feels like a camp/sharp pain!. it comes in waves!. And it also feels like swollen (not from the optside) It seems to happen most after i orgasm!. And i dont think im pregnant!. I am always safe and im on birth control for over a year!. any help would be great :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Abdominal/pelvic pain that is similar to that of period cramping may indicate a problem in a reproductive organ (like the pain around your ovaries or uterus)!.
This includes conditions such as endometriosis (when tissue from the uterus is displaced to somewhere else like the pelvic wall or ovaries), uterine fibroids (thick bands of muscular and fibrous tissue in the uterus), ovarian cysts, ovarian cancer (rare), or pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) infection of the reproductive organs, usually from a sexually transmitted disease!.
If you have pain in your ovary area, you might have an ovarian cyst!. I have experienced that same type of pain whenever I have had an ovarian cyst!. I was also diagnosed with endometriosis last year which caused me severe pelvic pain and intense and painful period cramping!.
Based on your symptoms and what you wrote, I would recommend that you should see your doctor/gynaecologist, just to rule out any serious causes!.

The pain is usually associated with the egg bursting from the ovary or ovulation!. I get this pain sometimes before my period, sometimes I don't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am 31 years old For the past 6 years i have had all kinds of cyst on both ovaries!.!.!.When i first got them 6 years ago they would come and go!.!.I had my first surgery in 2003 cause the cyst stop going away and it turn into a tumor on my ovary!.!.In 2004 i had to have lots of tiny cyst removed off both ovaries!.!.2005 I had to have cyst removed off ovary 2006 i had everything removed but ovaries(Bad doctor)2007 i had a cyst and my left ovary removed and now 2008 i have a cyst on my right(chocolate cyst) ovary that is going up and down in size!.!.!.The reason why iam telling you my history cause now that you feel the pain you need to get check by a doctor and have a ultrasound done once a month to check size!.!.Sometime they stop getting smaller and grow larger which cause alot of pain!.!.!.!.Go to the doctor and get checked to see what it is and how big!.!.!.This is one thing you cant play with!.!.I have had large one's burst and was taken to ER!.!.PLEASE GO GET CHECKED ASAP!.!.!.Keep us updated!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
