It's my experience that pregnancy enhances a woman's beauty, during and after!. As for damage to the body!?, Well it depends on the size of bump and manner of birth, natural or Cesarean etc!. For the most part my late wife and one of my two daughters experienced giving natural birth, my other daughter had some difficulty being in labour for four days and a dry birth!. All were fortunate to return to their original figure with in six to eight weeks without any excesses, but bear in mind even with the help of a good man you will be up and down tending to the infant day and night, this alone can be exercise enough some times!. You will be bog eyed from sleep deprivation etc, but the unconditional love you receive from your child far exceeds any stress heaped upon you!. If you are worried about stretch marks, here's a tip my late wife used for her pregnancies, try rubbing a little warm olive oil on the stretch marks it may not completely eliminate them but it does seem to reduce them!. I'd stop worrying, if your happy with the way you look and feel that's all that matters, you're other half married you for the personality and the woman on the inside!. If he doesn't realise that, then shame on him!. Good luck and try and relax and enjoy life, it only comes around once!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your body and general level of fitness is good before becoming pregnant, and you take good care of yourself throughout pregnancy, and you ensure that despite being chronically sleep-deprived and constantly exhausted after you've given birth that you continue with approproate daily exercise, then your body should return to its former shape within 3 months of giving birth!. If damage does occur, its ability to be "repaired" really depends on the above and the nature of the damage!.

Its quite simple really, if you're an overweight and unfit person before pregnancy, and this continues, then its guaranteed you'll be an even more overweight and unfit person afterwards!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many people would argue that a woman's body is MORE beautiful after it has experienced the miracle of childbirth!.

There are many people that are able to regain their former body shape after pregnancy -- it's generally a tough battle, though, what with a new baby and all!! The point is, it's doable!. As an interesting fact, I heard on the radio the other day that several celebrity mothers have made the top so-many spots on People Magazine's Most Beautiful People List!Www@Answer-Health@Com

cant damage your shape, affect your shape maybe as of carry the baby but you can sort that out yourself after you have had the baby, with light exercise , i have 5 kids and i put on stone's with them all and i was 7 stone ,5 3 be for the kids and a size 10, i went up 2 size 16 and was 11 stone ,after the baby's i did a bit of light exercise and walked as much as i could, it took me 6 weeks Andi was back 2 a size 10 , so dint worry just do that and eat Heathy, i am sure you will be fine,Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only a man would lask that kind of question!. It can damage a womans body, i hurt my back more than it already was during pregnancy, as for shape women were meant to have children so whatever changes is meant to happen!. Yes you can exercise like crazy and get your body back but you are pretty much stuck with the stretch marks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends on what u call 'damage'!. i gave birth to my son 5 years ago!. and yes, it gave me stretch marks, and my stomach will never be as flat as it once was!. no amount of exercising will ever return it to it's former shape, as skin will only stretch so far before reaching the point of no return!. plus, the stretch marks that u get are there for good!. they'll fade, but never vanish!. exercise can help your body recover from some of the trauma it goes through during pregnancy and birth (yes - i said trauma!. i had a 3 day labour, and a lot of stitches in a very sensitive area ! childbirth is a very intense experience - worth it in the end though!. )

however - i don't see myself as damaged or ugly!. i see myself as being blessed with a beautiful son, and i see my stretch marks, etc, as my body's way of changing & altering during pregnancy & birth, in order to bring a new life into this world!. if i had been that bothered about my body changing in these ways, then i wouldn't have considered myself ready to become a mother!. being a mother means worrying less about yourself!. your child becomes the most important thing in your life!. (or at least it should !)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would have to say yes before i fell pregnant i was a size 10-12 and felt confident about my body not im a size 14-16 and have got stretch marks etc and dont feel confident about my body!. not everyone is affected my friend still looks good and didnt get any stretch marks!. but pregnancy made me stop smoking so im grateful
everyone is different!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you are fit and healthy and continue to be so you will not see too much of a difference, and if you have good elasticity in your skin you might not get stretch marks,my mother had nine children and has none !.i had two children and no stretchmarks but i put on weight, but this is more to do with lifestyle than pregnancyWww@Answer-Health@Com
