Question: Yaz Birth Control safe!?
I've been on YAZ for about 4 months now and its been great!. Recently me and my boyfriend had sex and this month,and i'm on the pill and we used a condom every time!. I should have got my period today but its not as heavy as usual!? Is this because of my birth control!? or what can it mean!? please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you've been using condoms and taking your birth control correctly its almost impossible for you to be pregnant!. It could take up to 6 months for your body to get used to Yaz or any other birth control!. That's most likely why it's affecting your period, making it lighter!. birth control can give you lighter periods!. and since you used a condom every time, and assuming you took your pills correctly, you should have nothing to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's pretty safe!. All hormonal birth control methods, can have an effect on the period!. It can take some of the pain away, and it can reduce the amount of blood!. So don't worry it's normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
