68 DAYS!. Until I went to the doc and he put me on birth control pills to regulate my cycle!. Now they last 6 days max!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My longest one was 42 days! I took a type of steriod shot for my back in Nov of last year, turns out, I am highly allergic to steriods!. I had AWFUL side-effects with the 42 period being one of them! I also started losing my hair by the handful!

i once had it for 19 days!.!.!. not fun!.!.!. but a chick i know used to get hers for about 70 days straight (and she was only 9 at the time, poor thing) but she had big problems and had to go on a cocktail of medication to fix it, it goes for about 14 days now still, but better than 3 months straight!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
my longest one would have to be 6 days and in all honnesty thats all it has ever been no more and no less!. I have only had my period for a little more than a year to!. i have to say i havnt had any really long periods *knock on wood*!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Now, I know I am a little different because I have some severe illnesses, some of them in my pelvis, however, this period was none the less horrible!!! I bled for 168 days! Yes, that is 6 months! I had been on a birth control where I didn't have a period (on purpose) for almost 2 years, and it suddenly became ineffective and I couldn't stop bleeding!. And no, that doesn't mean that 2 years of tissue was built up in there!. haha!. It was miserable!. Needless to say the horrible chaffing I got from wearing pads for 6 months (i hate pads but I have to because of my uterine condition)!. It took 2 months for the new birth control to even it out, but since then it's been fine!. I actually started a period today and I am just praying this isn't the start of another few months of this! That whole experience makes a 10 day seem like nothing! But I still know how much a longer period sucks!. My average used to be 8 days which seemed bad until the epic 24 weeks!.
