Question: Kinda weird question!.!.!.girls can you please answer!?
When you have your period and you lay down, does the blood move around everywhere like your uterus and stuff since it's not being pushed by gravity to exit through your vagina!? I know it still comes out even when you're laying down, but does it still hang around in other places since it's not being forced to go down!?!?

omg!! what if you do a handstand for a long time and the blood goes up!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? sorry, you probably think i'm really stupid by asking this!.!.!.!.!.!.!. but umm please answer!? obviously i'm a little confused!.!.!.!.!.!. :/Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The uterus contracts slightly to expel the blood into your vagina!. The blood can pool slightly in the vagina when you are reclining and run out when you stand!. The vagina is the birth canal, connecting the uterus to the outside world!. You only lose about 5 tablespoons of blood over the course of your entire period, so there is not as much blood as you may imagine!. The normal vagina is about 4 inches long!. Normally the walls of the vagina touch each other, but the vagina can expand to allow the blood to flow through and to allow you to have sex!. If you are using a tampon, it will absorb the blood no matter what your position!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Menstrual blood is self-contained within the uterus!. There is no way it can go up any further, so don't worry about that!. The blood flow is the lining of the uterus or womb that is shedding, so it has nothing to do with other organs or body cavities!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

how about, don't do gymnastics when you're on your period!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it hangs around!. That's why sometimes its more brown!. So what!? It comes from inside anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it can't go up past where it's coming from, it's not gonna hurt anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
