Is breast lump in 10 y/o daughter normal?!

Question: Is breast lump in 10 y/o daughter normal!?
My older daughter just turned 10 about a month ago!. About 6-8 months ago she had a lump in left breast!. I assumed it was just breast development but I took her to the Dr!. anyway to be sure!. They did an ultrasound and saw nothing wrong!. Then a few months later the lump was gone!. A few days ago she brought it to my attention that another lump was forming in the same breast!. I looked at it and it looked exactly the same as before!. But today she was complaining of it hurting and said it was very sore to the touch!. Her nipple is inverted and the area around the lump is tender and swollen and the lump is getting bigger!. The other breast has no signs of change!.

Is this just normal breast development!? If so, should the lump have disappeared and then reappeared!? What else could it be!? Does anyone know where I can find more information!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, as a teenager, i remember when my breasts started developing!. i had a lump in 1 breast first, and the other didn't begin to grow for a good 5 months (appx!.) afterword!. i went through a LOT of pain when it was happening!. however, i can most certainly say that i never had the lump that was--as my extremely awkward doctor put it--a "nugget" go away! I think that you should take her back to the doctor, and i would suggest both a pediatrician as well as a specialist!.
best of luck, and i hope that all ends up well for your daughter!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm pretty sure this is normal breast development!. I remember it happening to me when I started developing!. I also remember it being sore and tender!. The only thing I don't really understand is it going away and then coming back!. To be sure, I would have it checked out again by another Dr!. Oh, and breast development usually starts in one breast before the other, so that's normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should go to the doctor

you never know whta it might be

it might go away like the last one and it may not

i would say just go to the doctor and see if the lump is ok!.

my daughter is fixing to be eight!. she has been waking up every morning with the soreness and there is a little knot behind each nipple!.!.!.it doesn't sound the same as what your daughter has!. i would take her to a different doctor just in case!. maybe she just has one side developing faster than the other one!. but if it is worrying you that much and there is signifigant difference between each breast i would sure want to have that checked out! best of luck! i hope everything is okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
