my sister is 19!. she got her periods at 15 and had them for about a year, then they never came back!. she's always been fussy about eating but in the last year or more she has become anorexic!. she has nothing on her chest, i'm not exaggerating, she has nothing!.
could her not having had a period in so long or having breasts be down to her eating problems and thus she has stunted her growth!?
she won't go and see a doctor, she has many many problems!.!.

Yes, those issues could be caused by her not eating!. I don't know about the "stunting" of her growth!. She is slowly killing her body by not eating!. Anorexia is a serious condition that needs to be treated!. She cannot see what she is doing to herself, which means others have to intervene!. You, your mom and dad, someone!. She will never admit to this problem because that is PART of the problem!.
If you are truly concern, talk to another adult who can help you and who can insist she head to a doctor!.

I myself am a recovering anorexic (16yrs old)!. It is very possible that she has stunted her growth due from her eating disorder!. Did she lose a lot of weight from her anorexia!? How old was she when she first began losing a lot!? If she was around 18, she may have already been done going through puberty, but that depends on the individual person!. She will most likely get her breasts and period back once she starts eating healthily again and has a high enough body fat percentage!. The best thing you can do is let your sister know that you are there for her and that you love her!. She needs you more than ever at a time like this!.

Yes, being anorexic can cause a whole bunch of problems and her period stopping is one of the things that can happen!. Your sister needs help from a professional before she does any more damage to her body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
