Abusive husband..help?!
Question: Abusive husband!.!.help!?
My sister is in a very emotionally abusive mariage!. She sometimes sees it then other times denys it is that bad!. When she sees it she gets really emotional and comes to me for help to leave him but then a moment later she will be confused again and won over by her fears and his charms!.
He is 40 and she is 24!. They have 2 gorgeous children - the effects of his emotional abuse are begining to show in their 4 year olds behaviour towards other people but mainly his mum!.
It breaks my heart to see her so trapped and unhappy but she hasnt got the strength to leave him and the drive to leave him comes and goes so I dont know when will be the time to help her or when to stand back!.
She is very isolated where they live and he restricts her access to friends and money and shouts her down all the time!. She is broken but I cant help her until she makes the big move of leaving him!.
What can I do to help!? What can I do to maintain my sanity when she asks for help then shys away from it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds more of a dictatorship, im 19 and my girlfriend doesnt let me play video games on the computer more then long hours in a day but she doesnt yell at me and demand me to stop playing, for example if she restrict me from doing things i enjoy doing, i would dump her! and find someone who i can do it with!.!.
and thats really nice of you to be there for your sister, i mean!.!. if she dont come to you then who can she go to for help!?
