Question: Post hysterectomy quetion!?
Had TAH done in August of 2006!. Part of the reason for the surgery was severe endometriosis!. Now having spotting could it be the endo coming back!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm 6 weeks out from my hysterectomy!. they left my cervix!. i had a tah/ bso!.!.!. but they did keep my cervix!. took everything else!. my dr!. told me that since i still have my cervix, i can still spot!.
if they did not leave your cervix, you should call our dr right away!. women who have had their cervix removed should still have paps every year as sometimes all of the cervical cells are not gone!. !.!.!.yes, even if you have a "vaginal hood" in place of a cervix!.

Since you've had a TAH you shouldn't have a uterus (or other source of endometrial implants!.) or cervix!. The spotting has to originate from the vagina or genito-urinary system!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If your uterus was removed, you should not have any lining left!. I would contact your doctor to see if it is hormonal or something!. Something must be going on if you are just getting spotting now so long after you had the procedure!Www@Answer-Health@Com
