Hormone levels in birth control pills...?!
Question: Hormone levels in birth control pills!.!.!.!?
just curious if the levels of hormones in different kinds of birth control pills can affect your period -- or make you have none at all!.
i was on the generic for lorestrin -- junel, & i got 2 periods a month!.
so, my doctor upped the hormone levels by putting me on loestrin, & ever since i haven't had a period!.
it's been 3 months now, & still no period -- but i'm not pregnant!.
so, what i'm asking basically is, have any of you had this problem!?

Yes, the amount of different hormones and dosages of hormones can affect how light or how heavy a period is!.
Loestrin 24 Fe is also an example of one that can cause the period to be super light or even non-existent (have talked to several women who have done this pill)!.
I would recommend letting your doctor know what's going on as well at the next check up so that it can be documented in your chart for future reference!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
