Hormone levels in birth control pills...?!

Question: Hormone levels in birth control pills!.!.!.!?
just curious if the levels of hormones in different kinds of birth control pills can affect your period -- or make you have none at all!.

i was on the generic for lorestrin -- junel, & i got 2 periods a month!.

so, my doctor upped the hormone levels by putting me on loestrin, & ever since i haven't had a period!.

it's been 3 months now, & still no period -- but i'm not pregnant!.

so, what i'm asking basically is, have any of you had this problem!?

i think i might just have too much hormone!. but hey, no period, i'm not complaining!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, the amount of different hormones and dosages of hormones can affect how light or how heavy a period is!.

Loestrin 24 Fe is also an example of one that can cause the period to be super light or even non-existent (have talked to several women who have done this pill)!.

I would recommend letting your doctor know what's going on as well at the next check up so that it can be documented in your chart for future reference!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
