Question: What is this!?should I go to the doctor!?
I have a!.!.!.bump!.!.!. between my legs!. I thought maybe it was a cyst but I don't know!. I don't really want to post this but I'm too embarrased to let my mom see and I don't want to go to the doctor!.
About it:
I've had it about!.!. 3 days!. It started small and quickly grew to thicker than a pencil!.!.
It does hurt
It's firm in some places and not in others!.
It's not INSIDE my!.!.vaginal area!.!. it's right on the outside!.
I'm not sexual active, I am a virgin!.
It hurts to sit and walk and pretty much everything!.
It doesn't feel better with my legs open or closed!.
I'm so embarrased!. I've never been to a gynacologist and my mom hasn't seen those regions since I was young!.
I don't even know what's normal for down there!.!.I mean!.!.!.amount of hair!.!. anything!. I'm so embarrased!.
I don't know if it helps or matters but I'm 15!.

It sounds as if you have a boil which is really just a big puss filled spot which may or may not have been caused by a hair being pulled out!. It will eventually burst but in the meantime if you could go to the chemist and get some kind of poultice and apply then cover the boil with gauze this should help to bring it to a head and probably burst!. If it is under your skin, and feels like a small hard bump you should let your mom know and get to the doctor!. Usually what the cause is that a lymph node is swollen under your skin!. Lymph nodes are everywhere under your skin!. Sometimes they get clogged and become infected!. They hurt and are very tender!. Usually antibiotics and some Tylenol/Motrin help!. It is usually not serious but you should get checked out by a doctor!. IT IS NOTHING TO BE EMBARRASSED ABOUT, it is no different then getting a cold!.

Even though it's possible that it could be a pimple (an example only) I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on so she can take a look!. I would also recommend seeing your doctor (your regular doctor can do this if they are comfortable with doing that) so that they can evaluate the situation further!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If this lump is on the inside lip of the vagina and very sore I am likely to say it is a blocked duct, which fill up with puss and burst!. Have a good soak in a bath maybe a couple of times which will bring it to a head!. You may try squeezing it but this will hurt!. If this does not work within approx a week get mum to take you to the doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're not sexually active it is unlikely to be anything to really worry about!. It could be a wart, which tends to just disappear with time!. However if it is painful i would suggest getting it checked out!. Have you knocked that region with anything lately maybe!? I understand it would be embarrassing so maybe you can go to the doctor without your mum!? Even just describe the bump and he/she can give you some information!? Don't be embarrassed everyone has genitals and i'm sure doctors have seen hundreds in all sizes, shapes and colours! lol But if it is painful put your mind at ease and speak to your local doctor :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
